Bertrand (Philippe Beuzen) and Guillaume (Christian Charrière) are classmates at the Paris Medical School, the former a diligent but poor student and the latter a wealthy playboy with absentee parents. They both fall for Suzanne (Catherine Sée) when they meet her at a café, but due to his background, Bertrand doesn't actively pursue her, instead watching as Guillaume deceives Suzanne into a fiery relationship. The playboy quickly grows bored, breaks up with Suzanne, and she then starts spending recklessly with Bertrand until she runs out of money. Meanwhile, Bertrand's own money gets stolen... Is Suzanne a woman seeking revenge?
