Plot Summary
"The Rising" is a thrilling crime series produced by Sky, centered around the discovery of Neve Kelly's own death. Her newfound existence fills her with fear and confusion, but as she realizes she was murdered, her anger takes over. Determined to find her killer and seek justice, she suspects someone she knows is the culprit. As Neve gradually adapts to her newfound abilities, she embarks on an investigation into her own death, something the police couldn't accomplish. In the process, she uncovers deeply buried secrets and is forced to reevaluate her life and the people she cares about. Neve is a disruptive, unsettling hero who should not exist, and her return forces those around her to change, confess, or start hiding their tracks. However, this also reveals that there are others like her, "resurrected," and she must find her purpose.
